Professional communication comprises of written, visual, oral and digital communication, however digital communication is mostly used via computers in the field of new technology which enhances effective aspect of business communication. Digital communication is the transfer of information electronically using tools like e-mails, faxes and mobile phones. For effective business communication the company can advertise itself and even put some detailed information about them in their website, so that individual interested will not necessarily need to attend press conference of the company which happens not quite often in order to get more information, making company’s job of marketing itself easier. This method of communication is very effective since it can reach a wide range of group of people and it is available in all places provided there is a network connection in that area, it is also cheaper to the company since the company does not need to held seminars and conferences so as to give detailed information about the company because holding such meetings are quite expensive and time consuming to both the public and the company. Digital communication does not select a targeted group to portray information; both the children and adults who have skills in computer can be able to log in hence making it available to all audience despite of the age and gender. Information ethics deals with the impact of this digital communication to the society and environment, it has both the negative and positive effects to the society. At times when the company advertises certain products to the public targeting adults the children cannot be hindered from watching them. Some people become addicted to the internet affecting their lives negatively.
