South Carolina in Columbia is home to the colonial life arena. The 18000 seat arena hosts conferences, and concerts for clients all over the world. In February 29th 2020, it will hold the Post-Malone runaway tour, which needs proper planning. This concert requires the management to prepare for the tickets for the post-Malone tour and sell to the interested parties before the event takes place. It consists of lobbies and concourses, public restroom, exhibit areas and a parking lot to serve several guests.
Post Malone is a full-blown pop artist with the second-largest airplay audience in America. Post-Malone has an audience of more than 25 million who perceive him as creative through his collaborations and work (Barnet, 2019). Through his several music awards, marketability rose hence increasing his audience. Due to the broad audience, the concert is unique, which requires quality and effective event management. The audience needs to know about the concert date and venue to attend. The administration will design an event brochure to advertise.
The concert will consist of a series of live shows from the artist, along with other support personnel. The organizations need to consider the types of customers they are addressing to develop and diversity services and products in the event (Daniel, Bogdan & Daniel, 2012). The c is set to take place on February 29th 2020 starting 10 pm. In this event, the demographics of the audience is unspecific; hence, the management has incorporated strategies such as seating options for premium and three VIP packages. Various meals will also be included to provide a range of products. Security in the concert is essential; hence a list of prohibited items is provided, and the security personnel needs to check every individual as they enter
Venue planning involves the coordination of the entire event, but more services and products will make it more satisfying (Kimball, 2019). For example, in the post-Malone runaway tour, even, catering services have been provided to make the audience comfortable. Experience and reputation of the inhouse department create positive feedback from the guests after the concert. The arena management provided training to its staff on guest services and crowd management to ensure more quality and efficient services to guests and concert audience. Emergency planning is also in guests training for the safety of both guests and in-house staff.
