Paper on Breaking Night Instructions

After you have read Liz Murray’s book, I am interested in your response to the following three areas:

1) I want to hear about your experience reading the book.  Did you like it? What did you like about it?  Did you not like it?  Why not?  So, first and foremost, I want to hear about your overall experience with the book.  Would you recommend the book to a friend or colleague?

2) Secondly, I am interested in your analysis of this book as compared to the chapters in the text that dealt with similar mental health issues. Did the author accurately portray symptoms of the illnesses that you read in our textbook?  If so, how and when?  If not, how and when?  Overall, this part of the paper is about the relationship between our textbook and Liz Murray’s memoir.

3) Lastly, I am interested in how Liz Murrays book matters to you.  What are your own takeaways, as a student, person, or professional? (You can address all of these roles or only some).  Did this book have an impact on you?  If so, how did it matter to you?  Did Murray make you think differently about something?  Please show examples.
