A great topic and also you found some great criticism to read. Here, however, I think you had to work to quickly and there are a lot of issues with grammar, punctuation, and clarity I didn’t notice in your earlier work. For example, the second sentence says the opposite of what you mean, which is that The African American people suffered many infractions against their legal rights. . . How would you fix it? There are similar problems throughout. Proofreading would help. Also, you get stuck on a few words and repeat them all the time, words such as “broadcast.” This is something we always have to guard against. You might also take a look at Isabel Wilkerson, The Warmth of Other Suns, should you want to expand this.
