I am writing a paper on the sorts of gender relationships that occur in the play Euripides Alcestis. I can not come up with a solid thesis that has two main points that relate to the specific play. I understand the general notions about women during this time period (domestic, few rights, etc.) but cannot find two strong points relating to the play.

What sorts of gender relationships occur in the play and what do these relations reveal about Greco-Roman culture?
