In psychology there are many psychologists and most are divided causing controversy however all united in the goal of developing an independent science of psychology. Wundt, Ebbinghaus, Brentano and Stumpf had varying views of psychology subject matter and methods however together they irrevocably change the study of human nature.
Wundt had an interest in the word called consciousness experience.

Ebbinghaus interest was in the study of memory the study of learning. Brentano interest was in conscious experience the mental activity. Stumpf interest was phenomena , unbiased experience the theory of emotions.

All relates to the mental process of the mind what we are thinking, what makes us do what we do and why. How we are feeling, what makes us feel this way, the emotions of our mind and body relationship.

Many different people think that there are many different ways to help a person. They all believe in helping people. That is the one main goal of the psychologists. Wundt is considered the founding father of psychology as it is a formal education (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). Wundt main study was conscious experience. He was able to use all of his experiments to move psychology forward and show that it could use more experiments. After Wundt stated that it was not possible to conduct experiments on a higher process, Ebbinghause did conduct an experiment (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). He helped show how learning could be studied (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). Ebbinghause brought objectivity, quantification and experimentation into how to study learning (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). He was able to bring many different ideas that used to be thought of out of reach to study in reach for the people to study them. Brentano did not agree with Wundt’s fundamental idea of studying the conscious experience (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). He thought that the person should study the experience as an activity. He was not as published as Wundt and was not as known at the time. His ideas did help with the advancement of two acts: Through memory and through imagination (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). Stumpf was the founder of study the psychology of music (Schultz and Schultz, 2012). His views were often in conflict with Wundt.
