Your lab report should include (in this order):

ABSTRACT: a short paragraph summary of the data collected and conclusions made.

BACKGROUND/INTRODUCTION: an explanation of the known physiology of ventilation and respiration, including an explanation of spirometry, and regulation of ventilation (at least one APA formatted citation require), regulation of ventilation and ventilation mechanics must be included

PROCEDURES: how did you complete the experiment? where there any problems or modifications you had to do? this must be written in paragraph form. You may use the lab manual as a guide, but do not go over the procedure word-for-word from the manual (no plagiarism).

DATA ANALYSIS: explain the data gathered for all sections of the lab performed, include tables and appropriate graphs. You MUST include and compare data from TWO people in the lab.

CONCLUSIONS: what was learned from the experiment? summary of the data gathered, explanation of physiology seen and applied in this experiment, application of information to human health care (at least one APA formatted citation required, must be a second primary source), explanations of differences between subjects
