Compose an essay on one of the following topics. Your essay should draw about course readings, lecture materials, class discussions, and library research. Carefully cite your sources. Essays are due, hard copy, in sections, either November 21^st (Thursday sections) or November 22^nd (Friday sections). Your paper should be 5-10 pages, typed, double-spaced, proportional font, 12 point, 1” margins.
