Assignment:
Research and synthesize viable solutions for a social problem that we have discussed throughout the course.
Be sure that you:
- Define the aspect of the social problem you wish to address
- Research the social problem and the aspect you wish to address
- Develop at least 3 feasible solutions
- Discuss what problems your solutions might cause
- Determine which of your posed solutions would be the best choice and discuss why
- 800 words minimum

Defining
10pts: Student has accurately and thoroughly defined the selected social problem
7pts: Student has attempted to define the selected social problem but has not done so accurately and/or completely
0pts: Student has not attempted to define the selected social problem at all
Researching
10pts: Student as specified and researched at least one aspect for which a solution will be developed
7pts: Student as not specified an aspect for which a solution will be developed, but has researched the larger social problem as a whole.
0pts: Student has not specified or researched an aspect of the social problem nor the social problem itself.
Solutions
10pts: Student has developed at least THREE different feasible[1] solutions
8pts: Student has developed at least TWO different feasible solutions
5pts: Student has developed at least ONE different feasible solution
0pts: Student has not developed any feasible solutions
Problems
10pts: Student has thoroughly discussed the possible problems associated with ALL of their solutions
8pts: Student has thoroughly discussed the possible problems associated with MOST[2] of their solutions
